Emma
For some time, I had considered adding a canine friend to my pack of one – yet always hesitated due to the anticipated care and time commitment required to truly care for a pet companion. On my own, with a busy work schedule and a commute that made afternoon visits impossible to care for a puppy or young dog, I was essentially at a roadblock.
However, a conversation with Megan at the end of 2008 removed the obstacle – by providing the afternoon care and attention my new pack member would need. Megan has assisted in raising Emma (a German Shepherd puppy) since her very first day with me at roughly eight weeks old – and has worked with me all along the way to support the regular exercise and potty break needs as Emma gets older. From my experience. Megan has been flexible, dependable, consistent with my training needs/guidelines and truly cares for the animals under her care.
Now, my now medium-sized German Shepherd “puppy” has just turned 5 months of age – and I have been very pleased to have had Megan’s services/support…without which I doubt having Emma as my partner in crime would ever have been possible.
